Government has an agreement with you; you support it, and it provides essential services to you. The United States government at the federal, state, and county level is putting its resources online in increasing numbers to keep up with its obligation to provide services to you – but only a fraction of the public knows about these services and how to access them on line.
The purpose of this video blog is to provide a hands-on, concrete guide to different governmental resources that make a difference to you. As I live in Hawai`i, there’s a special emphasis on Hawai`i, but I will also cover federal governmental resources. Please note that website change. Each video is current when it is uploaded. If you are viewing a video after its upload date, it may have changed. However, in my experience, government websites have been changing to provide more, not fewer, services, so if the page you go to doesn’t look quite the same as the video, changes are that if you look around, you’ll find the same information – and more!
